According to the Infinix official store available on Jumia Nigeria, the Hot 30i goes for N88,200. The good news is that Jumia offers free delivery when you buy from them. However, Infinix Hot 30i didn’t come alone, there are other models you should as well be aware of, and they are as follows.

1. Infinix Hot 30 (X6831): 6.78 inch display, 8GB RAM + 128/256GB ROM & 5000 mAh battery selling between N110,000 – N140,000

2. Infinix Hot 30 Play (X6835): The Hot 30 Play comes with a 6.82-inch display, 8GB RAM + 128GB ROM, 6000 mAh battery and is powered by Android 13 OS selling between N100,000 to N113,000

Infinix Hot 30i Review

Let’s look at the features and functionalities of the Hot 30i; after that, I will compare the phone with other models, so wait for it.

Display & Design

Infinix Hot 30i has a good and attractive design and perfect size; it doesn’t look too big or too small, so you might not have any problem with the size. However, the phone has a 6.56-inch IPS LCD screen with 720 x 1612 pixels, a 20.9 ratio and screen dimensions of about 164×75.8×8.4mm.

Like most phones, the front of the phone is glass with a plastic frame and back. As for the design, the Hot 30i has a water drop notch design at the front, giving the phone a more beautiful look and room for the front selfie camera. You see two cameras and an LED flash at the back of the phone. The fingerprint sensor is positioned by the side of the phone and not at the back, as usual.

Operating system & Processor

Infinix Hot 30i has Android 12 operating systems supported with Infinix XOS 10.6 clocked with Unisoc T606 Chipset and Octa-core processor. Although the hot 30i might not offer you the best performance but you won’t be disappointed.

Android 12 is not the latest version of Android OS but among the most recent Android OS, which gives you access to thousands of apps and games available on Google Play. Expect a redefined interface with the Infinix XOS 10.6 OS.

Infinix Hot 30i is undoubtedly not the best camera smartphone if you want one with the best quality. If not, you are good to go with the 13MP + 0.08MP dual rear camera that the Hot 30i offers, along with 8MP front camera.

Honestly, Infinix Hot 30i is not super cool if you are the type that takes a lot of photos with your phone, but it’s okay for people like me that focus more on performance than anything else.

Battery Capacity

Like most Infinix smartphones, the hot 30i is powered with a 5000 mAh battery capacity, which is strong enough to keep you connected for the whole day. Apart from that, the phone has 18W fast charging.

Interestingly, the phone comes with Type-C charging port which is more durable compared to the other type. So the battery capacity, fast charging feature, and the Type-C charging port makes the phone more reliable.

Infinix Hot 30i Compared to Hot 30 and 30 Play

This post will not be complete if we don’t discuss the differences and similarities between the three variants of the phone.

Firstly let’s start with the display and design, Infinix Hot 30i is smaller at 6.56 inches compared to the 6.78 inches that the Hot 30 comes with and the 6.82-inch  offered by the Hot 30 Play. You know what you want regarding size, so go for it.

Infinix Hot 30i is behind in the Android OS as both Hot 30 and Hot 30 Play come with Android 13, while Hot 30i has Android 12 OS. Apart from OS, Infinix Hot 30 comes with a superb camera, 50MP dual rear camera as opposed to the 13MP and 16MP the Hot 30i and Hot 30 Play offer.

To cut a long story short, Infinix Hot 30 is superior to other models. However, when it comes to battery, the Hot 30 Play is better with a 6000 mAh battery compared to the 5000 mAh that Hot 30i and Hot 30 offers.

Finally, as the features suggest, the Infinix Hot 30 is more expensive than other variants.
